Chat Rules

Banning

  1. Spammers should be banned immediately without warning.
  2. Rule breakers (such as: flamers, trolls and users who offensively use foul language) should be warned at least once before banning.
    (use best judgement for each case, feel free to give more warnings if called for).
  3. No posting of hardcore porn/pictures/content. Softcore is allowed from the waist up.
    (no penis no vag)
  4. Racist content will get 1 warning(and delete), before being banned.(use best judgement for the current situation).
  5. Members with insulting usernames towards another user, will be banned.
  6. Mod impersonating is bannable offense, and no warnings will be given.
  7. Try not to clear the users' chat (except if hardcore porn/racist, etc), and ban silently if possible.

UnBanning

  1. If you ban someone, the ban period should be atleast 2 hours, but you can use your own judgement(if you think less time is warrented) if the person was banned by yourself.
  2. Do not touch other mod's bans unless they're older than 2 hours.
  3. Feel free to clear the ban list every now and then, but make sure you don't unban users who have been banned for less than 2 hours, unless you are the head mod/owners.

Gernal Behavior

  1. Do not "poof" (delete) messages, users and/or other moderators just for fun.
  2. The normal chat rules apply for moderators too. Do not think you can get away with rule breaking just because you are a moderator.
  3. All power abuse that clearly shows a mod is breaking the rules should be reported to a head moderator ASAP.
    (Proof that a mod is abusing power may be requested when reporting.)
  4. Being a moderator means you're setting an example for users, so remember to behave as well.
  5. Be reasonable with users and other moderators, do not argue with them.
  6. Be polite to everyone, including anons.
  7. Don't ask to be a moderator. If we feel that someone should be a mod, we will approach them about it.
  8. The owners can post whatever they like and ban/unban without question. Impersonating one of the owners will get you banned.

Mod Inactivity

  1. Let at least one head moderator know if you are going to be away from the chat more than few days.
